STEPS TO SOLVING A PEST PROBLEM
1. Where is your pest found?Around buildings, in yards and gardens, in agriculture, or in forests and rangeland?
2. Identify the pest. Management improves with specific knowledge of the pest, its life cycle and behavior. Need help identifying a pest? Contact the CSU Plant Diagnostic Clinic or your Extension office.
3. Determine if pest numbers are sufficient to warrant control.
4. Consider all pest management options.
5. Evaluate what worked.
